TIME SERT 5141E M14x1.25 Extended Reach BIG-SERT Spark Plug Thread Kit

TIME-SERT 5141E M14 X 1.25, is an EXTENDED reach BIG-SERT Oversize Spark Plug Thread Repair Kit. Extended tooling makes working down into a deep port easier ( *note Stock Photo Shown). It's for installing over-sized inserts in ports that have been repaired before. Fits many applications including Ford models that have spark plugs that have 14x1.25 threads and 3/4" reach. Inserts are sold separately. *Note the 51457 insert is used for taper seat plugs and the 51407 is used for washer seat plugs with a common reach of 3/4".

" OVERSIZED HOLES" For Spark plugs that have been previously repaired. 

This kit is not recommended for holes larger than .663" (16.8mm). See the Time Sert 5600 for holes up to .73".

If working on a foreign vehicle like Toyota, Mazda, Nissan etc., with washer seat plugs, the most common insert which is sold separately is the 51407.

*If working on 2001 and up Romeo style head (RF-1L2E) the Time Sert 5553 kit is recommended because it comes with the Triton counter bore (PN 55518) and the 5141 does not. 

*If using fully threaded taper seat spark plugs, 51459 inserts which are partially threaded can be used or use the 51457 fully threaded inserts if preferred. Caution: When using 51457's an additional 51484A setting ring is required on the setting tool, for initially installing the insert, to prevent damage to the upper threads. Again inserts are not included with this kit.
