TIME-SERT 44187 Spark Plug Taper Seat Insert for 4412 Kits 24mm

TIME-SERT 44187 Spark Plug Insert tapered seat for 4412 series kits. Timesert 44186 TAPER seat spark plug insert is M14x1.25 used with the 4412 and 4412E installation kits. The 24mm length is considered .95" reach. This is usually used in the Ford 2.0 that has longer than usual threads. Sealer PN 6020 is required for use with this taper seat inserts.

Question: I ordered a 24mm insert for my car. Could you tell me the tap size I need to use so the insert will fit into the hole?

Answer: To properly install this insert, you’ll need more than just a regular tap. The installation requires either the TIME-SERT 4412 or 4412E kit, depending on your needs. If you require longer reach tooling for deeper access, the 4412E is the better option.
