TIME-SERT 2001 Mega Master Metric Thread Repair Kit M5-M18

Free Express Mail Shipping. Time-Sert Metric Mega Master thread repair kit includes a variety of sizes with 300 inserts. Tools in the 2001 kit are for "first time" repairs when a Helicoil or some other competitive brand has not been used previously. Use Big Sert (which is the oversize repair) for previously repaired holes. The Time sert 2001 mega master kit includes 10 complete tool kits with tap guides and a total of 300 inserts in multiple lengths (30 inserts per kit including 10 each of short, medium, and long-see below for more details). Sizes include: M5x0.8, M6x1.0, M8x1.25, M10x1.25, M10x1.5, M12x1.25, M12x1.5, M12x1.75, M14x1.5, M18x1.5. This kit is ideal for repair shops that wants to have an assortment of metric thread repair kits on hand when a need arises.

This kit includes some of the most common metric sizes.  

These kits can be used for general thread repair when the particular size is needed and also on aluminum oil pans when the specified size is called for. *Note when using on aluminun oil pan thread repair, select the correct length insert as well as appropriate diameter and thread pitch.
