    440 MOPAR Exhaust stud removal

    Broke off the exhaust manifold stud on drivers side rear of block close to the fire wall. I tried welding a nut on to remove it but wouldn’t work. Tried drilling and utilizing an ez out, which also broke in the broken exhaust manifold stud. Last option was to use a RESCUE BIT- which drilled out the broken ez out and and broken exhaust manifold stud. Time sert worked great. Drill bit was super sharp, and compact even with the limited space I had to work with. I bought the tap guide to ensure I got it done efficiently, which helped both in drilling and re-tapping the hole straight. Time sert installed easily with instructions given, and headers and header bolts installed like it never happened. Great product and great fix, even for someone that has never had to do this type of repair.
