Description
This listing is for one 3/16" diameter by 3" long Rescue Bit broken tooling extractor. Hard metal compound allows drilling into tooling which normally cannot be drilled. Use to remove broken bolts, drill bits, thread taps or EZ Out extractors. This is a 3/16" Double Ended Drill Point Rescue Bit with one end as a drill bit point and the other end is a reamer end. Help prevent tool breakage by switching to the reamer end when the drilling is almost through the object. The reamer end can also withstand higher RPM's than the drill point. Rescue bits as well as reamers, drill bits and taps etc are consumable items. As such they carry no warranty expressed or implied. Have questions about the Rescue Bit? Remove broken screw extractor (easy out) from stripped screw.
Reamer worked exactly as advertised. Worked in very restricted space with no damage to adjacent painted surfaces. I was out of ideas until I saw this great tool.

Save my bike / Saved me hundreds of dollars
I work on all my vehicles myself, to safe money and to see everything that I purchase go into my project. OK, I broke a bolt in and tried to tap it out and yes I broke the tap bit in the bolt i was trying to get out. Went to Lows, Harbor Freight, Home depot and a few other stores. Purchase metal drill bits that failed to penetrate the tap. I seen a you tube, the man talked about a rescue bit he stated it was the best $100 he had spent. He was correct best $60 I spent

Rescue Bit to the Rescue
I used the rescue bit to ream out a broken drill bit which was lodged between 2 metal patio doors. As such, the doors were fused and unable to open. The rescue bit was magnificent and did the job in about 35 minutes. Saved me thousand of dollars
