Broken drill bit
After breaking off a bolt in the catalytic converter to manifold, I tried to drill out the bolt and ending up, breaking off a drill bit. At this point I was at a standstill and couldn’t figure out how to get the broken drill bit out. After doing a Google search I found on YouTube a video talking about the rescue bit and I thought why not it’s only $63 and some change is worth a try. Low and behold once I got my bit in about 10 minutes of work on the broken drill bit. It came out. Your product is wonderful.

Remove broken ez out from bolt
I bought this to remove enough of a broken ez out from a broken bolt in my car so I could get a wedge, like a flat blade, in to turn the bolt to remove it. So far after spending about hour, 10 min at a time , I have only removed a small portion. If it continues to remove more material it could take several hours. I will be patient since I really want to remove the bolt. If it eventually works I would give it 5 stars but right now I have some doubts.

1/8 Rescue Bit
This tool was a good purchase a must have for the tool box. It saved the day removing a broken ez out from a broken off bolt. Saved a lot of machine work that would have been very expensive.

Great tool to have in the box
Bought the 1/8 rescue bit from you. It worked great removing the broken ez out. It was worth the cost. Saved the day. Unfortunately after I got done my die grinder fell on the floor and broke the reamer end off . The drill bit end is still usable. What a great tool to have in your box. From Wise: Thanks for letting us know how the job turned out. It's crazy that something so hard can break so easily. Just one of the characteristics that cannot be avoided. When something has to be so hard to be able to drill something that cannot normally be drilled, it is somewhat brittle and easy to break.

Awesome worked as advertised
I will buy another one if needed.

Rescue Bit Success
Just wanted to say thanks, these bits worked great to remove an EZ Out that broke inside of a broken 5/16x18 stud in a 1” blind hole at the end of a crankshaft.

Broken Easy Out Removed
I was able to remove a broken Easy Out from a 1/4 bolt. I used a hex socket head bolt to center on the uneven broken end of the Easy Out and drilled it out using slowest speed on a drill press cleaning chips (dust) frequently. The bit did bind and break once it went through the end of of the Easy Out but I was able to tap the part a few time and the broken bit fell out. From Wise: Glad to hear this worked for you. However, a drill press is NOT recommended due to the inability of using the rounding motion required to prevent binding and breaking. Also, the manufacturer recommends switching back to the reamer end just before going through the material being drilled. That's because it is common for the more aggressive cutting blades to chip and break when punching through material. The reamer end is less aggressive and not as likely to break upon exiting material.

A rusted bolt broke off in the frame of my 2008 Jeep Liberty. In trying to remove the bolt, I broke off the extractor. Looked on YouTube for a solution and found this product. And it worked as advertised. I was able to drill out the extractor and the bolt. Saved me from cutting into the frame. Great product.
