Question - What's the difference between the 8516 and the 8387, they look practically the same?
Answer - The 8516A is a rocker arm remover and the Miller 8387 is a valve spring remover. *Important see the Win 3747-123, it does what those tools do and more. Some websites have their listings pictured wrong which adds to the confusion. Our pictures are correct. The rocker arm cannot be used to remove the valve springs. You can however use the valve spring remover to remove the rocker arm, but it's not easy. There is also a risk of dropping the valve keeper if trying to use the valve spring compressor when removing or installing the rocker arm. It's best to use these different tools for the purpose they were designed for to eliminate possible problems. That's why our customers usually purchase the 3747-123 that works as both the 8387 and 8516A.
The YouTube video shows the comparison between the 8516A and the 8387. *Important see the Win 3747-123 that has tooling that works as both!

Kind of worked
It does compress the spring but if you are looking to put the rocker arm on a 4.7 use a large flat head or the 8516 rocker arm tool. Save your fingers.

Great tool
Worked perfect for the job. I tried to remove rockers without it, but had no luck. With the tool the job went fine.

Exactly what i needed
Worked perfectly. Couldn't fix my Jeep w/o it. Won't use again anytime soon, but the cost of the tool is nothing when compared to cost of new Jeep.

DO NOT ATTEMPT WITHOUT THIS TOOL
I simply could not replace the lifter & rockers with heads on the engine wihtout this tool. Saved a lot of time and money.
