Timing chain wedge for Ford 3-valve engines, tool number 303-1175. Locking tool (WEDGE) for Ford 3V engines, is for preventing the timing chain from falling inside the cover when top end is being serviced. Eliminates the need to remove the front timing chain cover. Also see our wedge with the phaser tool, item number 6681. The wedge and phaser are often purchased at the same time as the Ford 3-Valve Spring Compressor 6684, which is the same as the Ford Special Tool number 303-1039. *Note Ford 3V engines started production in some models in 2004.
